2022 was a busy year for me as a writer. I attended both the Atlanta Writer’s Conference and the Writer’s Digest Conference in New York. I learned a ton, including where I fell short as a writer. After speaking with agents and other writers, the primary response I received all pointed toward the need of an editor.

Of all people, Jane Friedman recommended a WONDERFUL novel editor to me. Caylah Coffeen (https://www.linkedin.com/in/caylah-coffeen/) and I have been working for basically the last 18 months on my debut novel. I can’t thank her enough for the professionalism and patience as we’ve turned my lump of clay into something resembling a marketable sci-fi novel.

While I am only now querying agents again, I expect to drop more news on the project here in the coming weeks. I do have a few conceptual drawings and character bios to share soon. The title of my debut novel is NECESSARY EVIL!
