Roses are the epitome of elegance and beauty.  Ah, but glamour is superficial.  Time ravaged even the great white limestone walls of the Great Pyramid, that and greed.  Do lesser beings take great pleasure in the demise of a drying rose?  Do they silently applaud as the petals succumb to gravity’s pull, falling away as a disgusting castaway from the glory of the bud?  Do the petals cry as the slowly drop for what must feel like an eternity in their relatively short life span?  Imagine, a life span of only three months where and entire five seconds are spent falling from grace.  It would be like watching your entire world fall apart slowly over the course of 24 hours.
