This weekend I will be presenting the query, synopsis, and first 20 pages of the book I’ve been working on now for over 7 years at the Atlanta Writer’s Conference. No, I haven’t been able to work on it straight for that time. In fact, I only picked it back up more seriously in the last nine months. And, yes, I do remember what Steven Pressfield said about conferences and workshops in “The War of Art”. But, all that aside, this will my FIRST writer’s conference and I really have no clue what to expect.
I promise to increase my posts, especially as I progress in presenting and refining this manuscript. I also want to add some sketches and character bios. Even if no one is reading this, it will be a record of the journey. For the record, the draft title is “Necessary Evil”. Wish me luck.
